I have been a Doula for almost 20 years and have supported well over 1000 women and their families through their pregnancies, births and motherhood journeys. I have done this through yoga, healing, mentoring, community events and of course, as a Doula.
I use a combination of yoga practices, breathing, meditation, coaching and energy healing to help you to:
tune into your body, your intuition and your baby
understand what you can do to have the safest and easiest birth
give you confidence in making informed decisions
help your birth team know how to best support you in labour
help reduce risks and optimise the baby's position in order to reduce unnecessary interventions

As your Doula, I will help you:
Learn breathing, relaxation and positions for labour
Support the birthing techniques you have chosen (hypnobirthing, calmbirth, active birth etc.)
Provide research and information to help you make informed choices
Prescribe yoga, breathing and other techniques to help your body do what it is naturally designed to do
Guide you so that you protect your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles for a strong physical recovery
Help you connect to your body and baby for successful bonding, breastfeeding and understanding your baby's needs, as well as your own
Answer your partner/birthsupport questions by listening to their concerns, answering their questions and informing them about how they can best support you in labour and beyond.
